2018 Events

Nick Teddy Foundation
The Nick Teddy 5k
September 8th

We have three main races: for the serious, the sort-of, and the small fry athletes.

Throughout the event, our Kids Zone offers games, activities, free photo booth and balloon figures.

As always, everyone enjoys food, music, silent auction and raffles at the after-party.

Dates coming soon

We will partner once again with our good friends at Front Street Brewery to provide our over-21 supporters with an opportunity for an after-work evening social.

It's a great opportunity to sip brews on the party deck, enjoy good food, and meet with great people gathered to help our cause!

QC Mallards Nick Teddy Night
March 16th

Did you know that Nick was a hockey player in high school? So a fundraiser with the ECHL's Quad City Mallards is a natural fit!

So many of you joined us as the Mallards faced off against the Toledo Walleye. We had a great time seeing you all!

Our Bear was there, along with volunteers manning the table on the concourse. Lucky fans in the stands caught our t-shirts thrown from the ice at intermission.  We also offered a raffle for free entry into our Nick Teddy 5k in September.

Wear the Bear Day

September

During Spirit Week at Riverdale Elementary, kids are challenged each day to show up in class sporting a shirt with the animal of the day.

On Wear the Bear day, we make the newly designed Nick Teddy t-shirt available to the kids at a discount.
